Hello,
we have ordered a Helly Hansen Jacket in size L, but are concerned about the sizes.
I am usually XL in some Nike tops (have them baggy), had a rockport top delivered today in size XL (way to big/baggy). Size L in my Nike hoody, Size M in my reebok hoody.
What are Helly Hansen like with their sizes, are they quite friendly or quite strict?
I have ordered it in the chest size (L, 42-43inches) that is either my exact/near exact chest size with a very small amount of spare room.
Are they good jackets?
I think they are quite popular at the moment.
Can I have some advice on the sizing please, I am getting a bit worried about it.
Thanks for your time in reading my question.
Thanks,
Stephen.|||My hubby has a 3 in 1 in size XL and he is chest 44-46 and it fits perfectly with enough roomfor the style of jacket. It was expensive but he has had it about 3-4 years and it still looks like brand new. I, in the meantime have gotten through about 3 Regatta jackets (mainly because I like a change). I would say that his was fantastic value and definitely worth paying more for. Size Large should fit you fine. Hope you get loads of wear from it.|||i think it will fit. i don't really know anything about helly hansen though, never even been in the store.|||Helly Hansen are quite friendly with their sizes if I remember right.. I dont think you have to worry to much about it. It's a well known brand atleast here in Scandinavia... Their clothes are not exactly inexpensive, but the quality is usually worth the price.|||I've got a helly henson jacket and im a uk size 12, my jacket is a medium and its roomy but not overly big. By what you've said, i'd bet a large will be perfect for you.|||Helly Hansen are quite generous with their sizes, so large should be fine for you.
They are really good jackets - my husband has a couple of them and they'll probably last a lifetime!|||do you mean sally hansen?|||I think you'll be alright with it. They are usually true to size. But surely you could send it back if it doesn't fit. Good luck.
