How can i get the hood off my Helly Hansen Jacket?

i got the jacket for my pal but i do not like the hood|||best bet take it to a tailor


i tried to do it my self once and it turned out ok


all i did was undo the seam then take off the hood and re stitch the seam|||scissors?|||surly if its for your pall you should let them chose.otherwise a good Tailor or dress maker.|||if its for ur mate what does it matter what u think about it?!?!?


if u didnt like the jacket why didn't u get one WITHOUT a hood?
