Hey guys, basically a chat with my parents about what I'm wearing to camp got me thinking: How do I handle school camp?
It's P7, and we're going within a cluster of schools, but I've never been away for this period of time, and I need to know how to stay cool, avoid being humiliated (I already get picked on) etc.
If anyone could provide any advice, how-to links, that kind of stuff, that'll be great!
BQ: If I'm going to wear a Helly Hansen waterproof, Vans plimsoles, and some nice tracksuit bottoms, will I get picked on?How to handle this sticky situation?

Where can i find a cheap school coat?
Hi im in year 7 and i want something good for summer and winter i like the north face and helly hansen coat but their really expencive i like these...

What to buy boyfriend of two years for birthday?
I've been with my boyfriend for 2 and half years, and im 16 years old, his birthday is in december, and i have a part time job so i have time to save for whatever it is i will buy him. the thing is, i dont have a clue what to buy men, any ideas would be great? i want some big willing to spend up to 拢150ish, bit more not bothered, around that.
so far ive bought him-
engraved dog tags.
neck chain.
photo frame + pictures.
helly hansen or whatever it is jacket.
^ just a brief of things ive got him.
p.s i was going to get him an expensive watch but he bought an ice watch at Christmas for 拢85 so i don't think that's possible.

Aged 17, female. Currently studying A levels, has achieved 13 GCSE's.. 8 of which were A grade. Studies hard and has good morals. Has an older sister aged 20. During the ages of 13-15, she was a little gobby in school and claimed to be into hardcore for a short while because her sister was ( her sister being her influence at this time). Her sister got in with the wrong crowd and so was slightly chavvy ( but no drugs or violence involved). This girl wore a Helly Hansen jacket twice. And also stayed out on the streets all night once or twice with an influential friend. Now this girl regrets her past hugely because she was influenced by her sister and a bad friend she got invest with. However, she'e never taken drugs and has always had good morals and from a decent family. Is this person a chav or just a teen that has experimented and been through a learning curve?What kind of person is this....?
It sounds like she learned that she was on the wrong path, and has corrected her mistake. It takes great strength of mind and spirit to do this, to pull away from a friend or even a sister, to know when to walk away from something that isn't good for her. Where can I find a medium-light weight jacket?
I need a light jacket,but not too light,I have a windbreaker.I need something with one interior layer.I have only a week left to find one and I am at wits end.I looked at Burlington,they have mosty rain or extra lenghts light jackets.Nordstrom has a couple but are way too dressy.Macy's are too light again,nothing at Kohls and Ross dress for less has no jackets left,they are geared up for the summer.O,and in my desperate search I even went to goodwill and a consigments store.Helly Hansen and North Face had a couple but the price was exorbitant.So who stocks light weight jackets this time of year?Thank you very very much for reading!Where can I find a medium-light weight jacket?

How do I get rid of my past? Make everyone forget it!?
I am currently 16 years of age and I am female. I have recently finished high school and have now started college. Between the age of about 12 - 14 I was quite gobby, I wore a Helly Hansen and Fred Perry coat a few times (not often), I stayed out of the streets all night a couple of times (under the influence of a friend) and I use to say 'htid' and 'oi oi' often because my sister had chavvy friends so she was my only influence. However, I have now gotten to an age where I am more mature and can decide for myself what kind of person I want to be. I have had a respectful upbringing and have always had good morals. I have never used violence or broken the law in any severe way. Does this mean I use to be a chav? And do people think I am a bad person. Now I am 16 and I am completely different to how I use to be. All along I have been academically achieving well. I believe that I was just going through a phase and that age is a very experimental age right?
Please no nasty comments, this is mentally affecting me almost to the extent where I am suicidal.

I dont know how people respond to you many people get stuck in past judgements but then it is them that isn't able to move on, %26amp; not you - Just live your present and if anyone makes reference to your past you can laugh and say yes I was wild thats my past - I changed.
But I do think we expect young people to go through all sorts of changes at your age (becasue we did %26amp; know just how bad we were) and are pleased to heave a sigh of relief when you dont get stuck anywhere - The best advice I ever had was "what other people think and feel about you is none of your business!" It really helped me see that it said something about them and not about me.How do I get rid of my past? Make everyone forget it!?

Well your past is your past and thank goodness right? You said that you have matured. You are acting as a responsible young lady now. You can never change how people see you or think of you. But you know what that's their problem! There is absolutely NOTHING that you can do to change the way these peole view you. Keep on keeping on with your new and improved you! I always heard that, "Thinking about a person and what they are thinking about you is like letting that person live rent free in your mind." Let em go! They aint worth it! But You are! Good Luck and Take Care!

You know what you did, you know who you are now. They are, apparently, different people. Once you accept that, and stop worrying about what others may think, then you will be at peace with yourself and it will "go away" because it's just not an issue any more.
Sure people may ask you about that time in your life, but if you've accepted yourself for who you were, and who you are, then you can calmly explain that it was just some period in your life and you're making better choices now. They'll see the maturity and sureness in that statement, and they shouldn't judge you on it. If they do they aren't worth it.
You may regret what you've been like, but as long as you learn from it and become what you want to be, then it shouldn't matter. It's just a learning experience. Embrace yourself.
